Baler/Balerenos are known for its biodiversity, from the geographically formations to its well preserved nature. Thus, it is generally mountainous, the province is covered by the eastern part of Sierra Madre mountain. Now, with its long coastline, Baler is one of the best places to go on surfing. Its was actually called "Paradise of surfers", they say best waves comes in from October to February. Though, Surfing waves are present all year round. Aside from Surfing, Baler also has a lot of enchanting stories and beautiful historic sights like the ancestral place of Manuel L. Quezon and Dona Aurora, Museo de Baler, Ermita hill and the Baler Church that was know to be garrisoned by the Spanish Soldiers during the Baler siege.

The House of Dona Aurora, Dona Aurora Aragon Quezon, the wife of the President Manuel L. Quezon and The second First lady of the Philippines. She was born in the town of Baler and In honor of Dona Aurora, the house is continuously preventing as one of the historical sights of Baler.

Baler Catholic Church, here with its old and simple facade, Baler Catholic Church hold the most Historical memory during the Baler siege. It is known to be garrisoned by the Spanish soldiers for more than a year.

Its Natural attractions includes picturesque landscapes, beaches for snorkeling and diving, mountain climbing and nature trekking. However, If you are planning to Trek, better to consult local officials in the municipality to ensure safety.

Other tourist attraction and activities are:

Ampere Beach, Bunga beach or Ampere beach is an hour drive away from baler. This is perfect if you want to witness the Sun rise or rock balancing or to sit on the rocks and listen to the waves. The beach is covered with various rocks. Also, according to local residents, they used the intensity of the pacific waves in determining the intensity of the incoming weather.

Mother falls , a majestic natural attraction in Baler. They call it Mother falls because it is the grandest of all the waterfalls. your trip is not complete if you don't trek going to ditumabo waterfalls.

Balete Tree, also known as Millenium tree located Balete Park at Maria Aurora,Aurora. It is said to be the largest kind of tree in Asia. It takes 64 men to encircle its huge trunk. Unfortunately, due to heavy rain we aren't able to take pictures of the balete tree.

Dicasalarin cove, a secluded area privately owned by a known politician . it is famous for its white sand, vista and access going to Baler lighthouse. Entrance fee is 300 php. ( click the link below to see photos)

Hanging Bridge, A steel-cable hanging bridge over the water of Tibag-Sabang river. crossing the bridge is a 'Hair rising" feels especially when you get in the middle of it, the strong wind will surely swing you. This is perfect to all who is scared of heights but seek for adventure.

Baler Lighthouse, is a must visit place if you want to witness and capture the beauty of baler.

Ermita Hill, The famous Ermita hill plays an important role in the history of Baler, this is where the survivors of " Tromba Marina" (tsunami) run for safety during 1700's. Now, Ermita hill gives an awesome view of Baler bay, Dima-dimalangat and Aniao Islet. If you are seeking for a bit of adventure, you can also try the 800 stair steps going on top of the hill.

Aside from all the historical sites and awesome view, They are also famous for their pako salad. All restaurants, carinderia, eatery serves pako as side dish.

Baler with the help of its local government, strategically and continuously developing the province to accommodate tourists by providing accessible roads, resorts and hotels to all travelers.
